IEP/504 Support
1 in 5
Recent research conducted by the National Institutes of Health and Yale University has shed light on a significant challenge faced by a substantial portion of our population. Astonishingly, approximately 1 in 5 individuals encounter difficulties with reading, even though they possess average to superior intelligence. This implies that within every classroom across the United States, there are typically 2-4 students who require specialized assistance in reading, writing, and/or spelling. A significant number of these students grapple with dyslexia or other language-based learning differences, making it essential to address their unique needs and provide the necessary support for their academic journey.
